The Forensic Science program will explore various aspects and disciplines applied to crime scene investigation and evidence analysis. Lab activities will be related to crime scene basics, obtaining and analyzing physical evidence, observing state of the art technology and equipment utilized for crime solving and the application of skills and knowledge learned to investigate a simulated crime scene. In addition, students will compare and contrast different forms of media presented to them and are expected to analyze in writing for argumentative purposes. The program will enable students to model scientific rigor with high academic standards as applied to the various disciplines of the forensic sciences and thus generate confident, competent and ethical future practitioners.
